Work Environment

This full-time position is based in our outpatient office located in Gloucester City, New Jersey. You will work in an onsite, collaborative environment where you will have direct interactions with patients and fellow healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify and understand individual goals and needs, facilitating tailored treatment plans.
• Implement a range of cost-effective physical therapy treatments aimed at improving motion and mobility, including manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Design and curate fitness and wellness programs specific to the patient's rehabilitative requirements, focusing on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care through personalized interventions, while ensuring a motivating and supportive atmosphere for all patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive approach to patient care, discussing treatment strategies and progress.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, tracking patient progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Promote and educate clients about healthy lifestyle choices, empowering them to maintain their health beyond therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Bodywise Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and surgeries, including but not limited to joint replacements, fractures, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping this diverse patient population return to their daily activities, hobbies, and sports.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's Degree or Doctorate is preferred.
• An active State license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, especially in assessing and treating patients with various musculoskeletal conditions.
• Demonstrated experience in patient care practices, including assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering direct care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in managing a diverse patient demographic, tailoring your communication style and therapeutic approach to individual needs.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years in orthopedic settings is required, additional experience with sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, or advanced therapeutic modalities can enhance candidate applications. Demonstrated success in motivating clients and their families towards achieving rehabilitation goals would be considered a strong asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Bodywise Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000 per year, supplemented by potential bonus opportunities based on performance.
