Work Environment

This onsite role is set in a fully equipped rehabilitation center featuring state-of-the-art facilities and tools. The environment is collaborative and supportive, encouraging communication among team members as well as with patients. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience while meeting the high demand for our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and specific rehabilitation needs, ensuring tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize relevant orthopedic expertise to deliver interventions that promote mobility, strength, and overall well-being.
• Create comprehensive treatment and care plans integrating evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's unique requirements, enhancing their recovery journey.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their treatment by helping them overcome mental and physical barriers to success.
• Educate patients about their conditions and the importance of preventive care to foster long-term wellness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans accordingly to ensure the best results.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and communicate effectively to keep all team members informed about patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work predominantly with adult patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, post-operative recovery, and various musculoskeletal injuries. The role requires compassion and empathy, as you will provide support to patients navigating physical challenges, while aiming to restore their quality of life through personalized rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in physical therapy with a strong focus on orthopedics in an outpatient setting.
• A clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a similar outpatient rehabilitation environment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) for patient documentation and progress tracking.
• Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and communicate effectively with patients and team members alike.

• Attractive salary range of USD 110,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
