Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner at Amory Medical Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive patient education by addressing questions related to pre-surgery and post-surgery care, ensuring patients feel informed and prepared for their procedures.
• Coordinating patient care flow throughout the clinic, including pre-visit assessments and managing post-visit follow-up to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Performing stress tests, including Regular, Echo, and Nuclear tests, to accurately assess cardiac function as part of our diagnostic processes.
• Assisting patients in the management of their International Normalized Ratio (INR) levels to ensure safe and effective anticoagulation therapy.
• Overseeing the clinical workflow within the department, fostering a collaborative environment among team members, and ensuring adherence to best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily serve a diverse population within the school environment, addressing a variety of cardiac health concerns that affect students and faculty alike. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A current and active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits
