We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our cardiology office at Intermountain Advanced Care Medical Clinic in Germantown, Maryland. Work Environment

Your working hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in a friendly and supportive atmosphere where each staff member plays a vital role in patient recovery and wellness. Our outpatient clinic in Germantown is designed to facilitate optimal patient interactions and integrates a sophisticated workflow where your contributions will significantly impact the overall operations and patient care quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient education to improve understanding of cardiology treatments and interventions before and after surgical procedures.
• Coordinate all aspects of patient readiness, ensuring a seamless flow in clinic procedures and enhancing the overall patient experience.
• Administer and interpret various cardiac stress tests, including Regular, Echocardiograms, and Nuclear tests, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Assist patients in the effective management of INR levels, highlighting the importance of anticoagulation therapy.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary clinical team to streamline workflows, share vital patient information, and guarantee that care delivery exceeds patient expectations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily engage with a diverse patient population experiencing various cardiac conditions. Your expertise will assist individuals from different backgrounds and age groups, ensuring customized treatment plans that consider each patient's unique medical history and lifestyle. Qualifications

• A current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with a preferred Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• A strong desire and enthusiasm for cardiac care, though previous cardiology experience is not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical healthcare setting, particularly in cardiology, is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation and improve information workflows.

Compensation and Benefits
