Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and academic needs of students.

• Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing concerns related to adjustment, grief, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and medical professionals to develop individualized support plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.

• Facilitate crisis intervention strategies, helping students and families navigate immediate challenges with compassion and expertise.

• Coordinate with community organizations to arrange ongoing support services, ensuring a continuum of care for students post-discharge from therapy.

• Offer educational workshops for parents and students about available resources and coping strategies.
\n
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team discussions to share insights and strategies that enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily focus on working with students from diverse backgrounds, particularly in the Latinx community, who may face unique cultural, social, and psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
