Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Develop and implement personalized physical therapy treatment plans designed to promote healing, restore mobility, and enhance physical performance.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities through diagnostic methods, assessing muscle, nerve, joint function, and pain levels.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring the accurate delivery of care and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Offer manual therapy techniques as well as functional exercises tailored to patient needs, educating clients on best practices for recovery.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, documenting changes in the patient's condition and responses to therapies.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, share insights from patient evaluations, and contribute to overall treatment strategies.
• Participate in monthly case conferences to discuss patient cases, sharing best practices and innovative approaches for rehabilitation.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical records including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and documentation standards.
• Engage with patients and their families, providing education about treatment goals and proper use of therapy devices to foster independence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population of individuals seeking rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. As a Physical Therapist at Saber Rehabilitation, you will work closely with patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, ensuring culturally sensitive and holistic care. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in an outpatient or home care setting.
• A valid, current physical therapy license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license with automobile insurance, as travel to clients' homes may be required for certain cases.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
