Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to determine patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans based on their unique circumstances.

• Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy sessions tailored to the treatment plan established for each patient.

• Act as both primary therapist and co-therapist in group therapy settings, facilitating productive discussions among participants and encouraging personal growth.

• Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly using EMR systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and program standards.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, other counselors, and administrative staff, to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes.

• Participate in program planning initiatives to improve service delivery and patient care protocols.

• Ensure adherence to ethical standards and agency policies, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPCC will work primarily with adult patients experiencing a variety of mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clinic serves a diverse population in Oakland, and an understanding of cultural competency and sensitivity is essential to meet the needs of our clients effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000, based on experience and qualifications, along with performance-based bonuses.
