This full-time position is located onsite at our hospital facility in Columbia, Maryland. Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with chronic pain by reviewing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and assessing pain levels through various diagnostic tools.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with a team of specialists, including physicians and physical therapists, to devise personalized pain management plans. These may include medication management, physical therapy options, and interventional procedures tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about chronic pain conditions, treatment options, and effective self-management strategies, empowering them to actively participate in their own care.
• Procedural Assistance: Assist in a variety of pain management procedures such as epidural injections, nerve blocks, and joint injections, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout.
• Follow-Up Care: Track patient progress over time, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing emotional and psychological support to aid recovery and improve overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant in Maryland.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 160,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
