Work Environment

Our surgical center in Columbia, Maryland, is designed to create a supportive and efficient atmosphere for healthcare delivery. Working alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, you will have the resources necessary to deliver prompt and effective patient care. The clinic is fully equipped with the latest technology and diagnostic tools, enabling you to work with precision during patient assessments and treatment planning. Your standard shift will run from Monday to Friday, starting at 5:00 PM, giving you structured work hours while allowing ample opportunities for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations to assess urgent care needs, reviewing relevant medical histories and records as part of the evaluation process.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including bloodwork and imaging studies, to assist in diagnosing patients effectively.
• Formulate and implement treatment plans for both acute and chronic conditions, adapting to the needs and preferences of the patients.
• Prescribe medications as needed, ensuring that treatment aligns with established protocols and monitoring patient response to prescribed interventions.
• Maintain meticulous patient records using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring all information is accurately documented and easily accessible.
• Educate patients and their families about illnesses and preventive health strategies, empowering them to maintain their health through informed choices.
• Oversee the development of health promotion initiatives within the clinic to encourage practices that lead to improved community health.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and research activities to remain current on best practices in the urgent care field.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• A valid Physician Assistant license in the state of Maryland (PA-C) is required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 140,000 to USD 180,000, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
