Work Environment

This full-time role is located onsite at our state-of-the-art Surgical Center, where you will work collaboratively with a team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a supportive, teamwork-oriented atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients suffering from chronic pain, involving the review of their medical histories, physical examinations, and assessments of pain levels. Utilize assessment tools to accurately determine the patient's condition and treatment needs.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with our healthcare team to develop personalized pain management plans that take into account a variety of treatment modalities, including medication management, physical therapy, and interventional pain procedures, effectively addressing the unique needs of each patient.
• Patient Education: Provide informative sessions for patients regarding their specific pain conditions, treatment options, and effective pain management techniques, empowering them to take charge of their own health journey.
• Procedural Assistance: Assist in the execution of various pain management procedures such as epidural injections, nerve blocks, and joint injections, meticulously ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Follow-up Care: Monitor patient progress consistently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on clinical findings, and offering ongoing support and counseling to encourage adherence and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant will work with a diverse patient population, predominantly consisting of individuals grappling with chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to arthritis, fibromyalgia, and post-surgical pain. Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a closely related field.
