Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial intake assessments for new clients, determining their mental health needs and establishing treatment goals.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans using person-centered and evidence-based approaches.

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, including regular progress meetings to evaluate therapeutic effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.

• Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes meticulously to support continuity of care and meet compliance standards.

• Engage in individual supervision sessions to discuss clinical cases, receive guidance, and foster professional development.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other health providers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Commit to ongoing learning and development by participating in professional training and workshops relevant to counseling practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on youth and families navigating various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. You will work with clients across diverse socio-economic backgrounds, emphasizing a culturally sensitive approach to therapy that aligns with their unique life experiences and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in a mental health field or closely related discipline.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Ability to fulfill all credentialing requirements required by our clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Experience conducting assessments, diagnoses, and providing individual and group therapy.
\n
• Proficient in using technology and electronic health record systems for documentation and treatment planning purposes.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in outpatient mental health services is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
