Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients, particularly those in the Family Restoration Program (FRP), and assess their clinical progress within the program.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for an active caseload that may include individuals, couples, children, and families.

• Utilize the latest best practices in pain psychology to inform clinical care, ensuring clients receive the most effective interventions.

• Employ an integrated therapeutic approach, particularly when working with clients facing chronic pain or trauma, to facilitate holistic healing.

• Establish rapport with clients and their families, fostering an environment of trust that empowers them to make positive changes in their lives.

• Utilize sound judgment in clinical decision-making, creating a safe space for open dialogue and emotional exploration.

• Maintain a commitment to excellence in patient care, adhering to the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with individuals who may be experiencing a range of psychological disorders, relationship challenges, and behavioral issues. Our clientele includes children, adolescents, adults, and families, often navigating complex life transitions or coping with the impact of chronic pain and trauma. This role is vital in supporting clients to replace maladaptive behaviors with healthy coping strategies, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health services, ideally in a health-related or outpatient setting.
