Key Responsibilities\n

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting initial intakes and assessments to evaluate the psychosocial, emotional, and developmental needs of patients and their families.

• Offering evidence-based brief therapy, crisis evaluations, and engaging in phone triage to address immediate patient concerns.

• Delivering individual and family therapy to clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, with an emphasis on addressing mild to moderate mental health issues.

• Implementing treatment plans that are regularly updated to reflect patient progress and align with therapeutic goals.

• Providing referrals to specialized services when working with patients presenting severe mental health conditions.

• Participating in safety programs and emergency response initiatives as required, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.

This role allows you to work closely with a diverse range of patients from various socio-economic backgrounds and cultures. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, with an active and valid California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Adept time-management and organizational skills to juggle multiple patient needs while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the required qualifications, candidates with additional certifications in areas such as trauma-informed care, play therapy, or family systems therapy will be viewed favorably. Experience in working with multi-cultural populations or diverse community settings is also a plus, as is familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

BlueHeal Mental and Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to financial compensation, we provide continuing education credits to support your professional development and licenses.
