Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy, employing evidence-based approaches tailored to the needs of clients.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and periodic reviews to evaluate clients’ progress and treatment efficacy.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including goals and objectives, in collaboration with clients and their families.
\n
• Work closely within a multi-disciplinary team, participating actively in case discussions to enhance overall treatment strategies and outcomes for clients.

• Monitor client situations closely, conducting follow-ups to ensure engagement in the therapeutic process and to gauge improvement.

• Document all interactions and treatment progress consistent with organization policies and relevant regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse population, primarily focusing on clients dealing with substance abuse issues and co-occurring mental health challenges. You will facilitate sessions with individuals, couples, and families, addressing the complex interplay of addiction and mental health. Your work will help clients develop healthier coping strategies, improve family dynamics, and foster lasting recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A current and active California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), free from suspension or probation.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a leadership role within an outpatient therapy setting.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to create a calming and supportive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n
