Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education (SPED) Certification.
• Secondary Generalist Certification required.
• Proven experience working in special education, preferably at the high school level.
• Strong understanding of adaptive learning environments (ALE) and individualized instruction.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for students of varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Deliver engaging lessons and hands-on activities in an ALE classroom setting.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families and educational teams.
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to manage classroom behaviors and promote student growth.
• Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet learning objectives and accommodate diverse learning styles.
