What You ll Do:

• Provide expert clinical care for cardiothoracic surgery patients with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care
• Assist in cardiac surgeries, including performing endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting
• Manage ICU and surgical patient care, including rounding and evaluating CVICU, floor, and clinic patients
• Participate in two full-day clinics weekly and see additional patients as needed
• Rotate through operating room coverage Monday through Friday
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare teams in a multidisciplinary environment
• Order, interpret, and evaluate lab and diagnostic results
• Develop and execute care plans, including medication management and bedside procedures
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care
• Demonstrate independent clinical judgment under physician supervision
• Maintain continuing education and licensing requirements

What You Need:

• Current Colorado Nurse Practitioner license
• Certification in cardiothoracic or cardiovascular care preferred
• At least 1-2 years of relevant ICU or surgical experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-stress, collaborative environment
