Project Management InternThe Project Management Intern will work closely with our estimating/project management team. The internship will provide the opportunity to gain an understanding of the basics of both disciplines.Adhere to PDM's Core Values:Relationship Building: We foster long-term positive relationships with fellow employee-owners, external partners and our communities.Accountability: We consistently demonstrate a high level of personal accountability.Urgency: We operate with a sense of urgency.Innovation: We embrace growth and change.Create Return on Efforts: We create positive results on all our efforts.Pillars: 1) Safety, 2) Quality, 3) Happiness, 4) PerformanceResponsibilities and Duties:Estimating:Understand the long range production schedule on how that ties to sales effortBecome familiar with Plan Room and provide bidding opportunitiesLearn the sales order process and perform as necessaryUnderstand how to navigate drawings and specs as it relates to our businessManage outside vendor pricing effortsProject Management:Perform duties as it relates to the Project Administration efforts including Submittals, RFI's, Change orders.Attend job meetings with lead Project Manager and take necessary minutes.Participate in project handoffs and review the contract documents to generate or confirm scope of work.File documents per PDM's document control under the direction of the Project Coordinator.Participate in daily project communication efforts with internal groups and external clients and partner vendors.Requirements:Qualifications:Knowledge & Skills: Microsoft Office, Bluebeam,Education: Currently a college student pursuing a 4-year degree in a construction related field.PDM is an equal opportunity employer.
