Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as a vital link between clients and their families, as well as outpatient treatment providers, ensuring comprehensive support throughout recovery.

• Engage with insurance representatives for pre-certification processes and assist in navigating utilization management to enhance client access to necessary therapies.

• Take an active role in discharge planning, developing detailed aftercare strategies that have a positive impact on clients' long-term recovery.

• Provide therapeutic meal support and guidance, while promoting healthy relationships with food and fostering a positive body image.
\n
• Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each client's individual needs, accounting for their unique backgrounds and intersecting identities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be assisting clients undergoing detoxification, many of whom are navigating significant challenges related to substance use and mental health disorders. You will adopt a trauma-informed care approach, supporting clients to achieve their recovery goals while addressing any underlying psychological issues that may contribute to their substance use. Our aim is to provide a culturally competent environment where every client feels heard and validated.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid LCSW license in New Jersey.

• Demonstrated experience working successfully with older adult populations is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
