Work Environment

This role offers a full-time, onsite opportunity, allowing you to engage closely with patients and collaborate with colleagues in the same environment. Your work hours will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, enabling a consistent schedule that supports work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the objectives and requirements of each patient in the healthcare setting.
• Efficiently manage a patient schedule of one patient per hour, ensuring quality care and personalized attention.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans that utilize diverse treatment techniques to meet individual needs.
• Deliver cost-effective therapies that significantly enhance patient mobility and motion, thereby reducing medication reliance and the necesidad for surgical options.
• Utilize effective motivational techniques to encourage patients throughout the rehabilitation process, maximizing their functional capabilities.
• Collaborate and consult with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, sharing insights and strategies to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
• Continuously assess treatment effectiveness and monitor patient progress while maintaining transparent communication with patients and team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist role at our facility focuses significantly on treating patients with various musculoskeletal issues, primarily in an outpatient orthopedic environment. Our patient demographic consists of individuals seeking recovery and rehabilitation aimed at restoring strength, flexibility, and coordination. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for consideration for this position.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York with a clean record, free from board actions or disciplinary matters.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and the development of exercise regimens that promote patient recovery.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software platforms, particularly WebPT, to facilitate efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience in orthopedic outpatient care, demonstrating effective treatment planning and implementation.
• Previous success in working within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to collaborative patient care efforts.
• Experience in developing and conducting patient-specific exercise programs that enhance recovery and performance.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, reflecting your expertise and dedication to patient care.
