We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in our outpatient office, alongside a collaborative team that includes two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent and stable work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and needs to develop tailored treatment plans that target their unique objectives.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions managing a patient caseload of one per hour, ensuring personalized attention.
• Facilitate the rehabilitation process through effective assessment methods, including functional movement analysis.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques that improve motion, mobility, and functional independence.
• Encourage patients to adopt healthy lifestyle changes by improving their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to continuously assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Thoroughly document treatments, progress, and patient interactions while maintaining open lines of communication.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to evaluate treatment effectiveness and adapt plans based on patient feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, focusing on those who require rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. We are dedicated to empowering our patients to regain optimal function and achieve their personal best in mobility and physical health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of New York.
• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards with no disciplinary measures on record.
• Proven experience in manual therapy techniques and developing individualized exercise regimens.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to document clinical information.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with sports therapy and rehabilitation practices will be an advantage.
• Ability to motivate and engage diverse patient demographics through effective communication and empathy.

Compensation and Benefits
