Key Responsibilities

In this role, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and setting clear goals tailored to each individual's condition.
• Developing and implementing effective treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities and manual therapy techniques.
• Keeping to an efficient workflow by managing a patient schedule of one patient per hour, ensuring quality and focused care.
• Utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• Promoting overall wellness through customized exercise programs designed to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress to adapt and refine treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintaining open communication with patients to motivate them through their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
• Reducing reliance on medications and devising alternative strategies to avoid surgical interventions, enhancing the quality of life for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will be with outpatient clients, many of whom are recovering from orthopedic injuries or undergoing rehabilitation post-surgery. You will cater to a diverse range of patients, allowing you to apply your skills to various physical conditions, making each interaction rewarding and impactful.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must possess a valid state certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in New York.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Solid understanding and expertise in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Familiarity with EMR software platforms, particularly WebPT, is essential.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be advantageous:

• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient facilities.
• A background in developing and executing tailored exercise regimens.
• Hands-on experience with various treatment techniques aimed at enhancing mobility and pain relief.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
