Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as an essential liaison between families, school personnel, and outpatient providers, ensuring seamless coordination of care.

• Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management to facilitate access to necessary services for clients.

• Engage in comprehensive discharge planning and aftercare management to provide ongoing support to clients post-treatment.
\n
• Offer therapeutic meal support, using mealtime as an opportunity to model healthy relationships with food.
\n
• Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each client’s unique identity and circumstances.
\n
• Document all client interactions and progress using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client cases, share insights, and refine therapeutic approaches.

• Stay current with best practices in social work and mental health through ongoing professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students in school settings and their families, addressing a variety of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to social challenges and behavioral disorders. Understanding the unique dynamics of school environments and the developmental stages of adolescents will be critical in tailoring your interventions effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California is required.
\n
• Demonstrated experience working with older adults and/or adolescents in mental health settings.
\n
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills to assess client needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and families.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents in a school or community setting.

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities is a plus, such as CBT, DBT, or family therapy.

• Prior experience interacting with healthcare insurance systems and managing treatment authorizations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
