Sr Formulation Technician (12hr days or 12hr nights; 2-2-3 rotation)

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Senior Formulation Technician role at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Greenville, North Carolina. Oversee bulk manufacturing and filling operations including compounding and sterile filtration, working 12-hour rotating shifts. Lead teams to maintain GMP compliance and production targets.

Responsibilities

Oversee safe execution of bulk manufacturing, compounding, sterile filtration, and pharmaceutical product maintenance
Coordinate personnel and motivate teams to ensure finished products meet GMP requirements and production schedules
Troubleshoot equipment and process problems; coordinate maintenance tickets and implement corrective actions
Lead on-the-job training programs, safety initiatives, and lean manufacturing implementation as subject matter expert
Manage SAP data entry and communicate production, quality, and safety issues to leadership

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum two years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or sterile manufacturing experience
Ability to lift 40 lbs without assistance and stand for full shifts
Strong knowledge of cGMP and standard operating procedures
Proficiency with SAP systems and basic math skills
Leadership and team coordination capabilities
