Lead Formulation Technician (12hr days or 12hr nights, 2-2-3 rotation)

Lead Formulation Technician role at Thermo Fisher Scientific overseeing sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Greenville, North Carolina. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor manufacturing technician team on daily operations and batch production
• Oversee terminal sterilization process and verify batch record documentation compliance
• Ensure operations follow SOPs, cGMPs, and safety standards to prevent incidents
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues, identify corrective actions
• Assemble, disassemble, clean, and operate manufacturing equipment; train new employees

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum three years pharmaceutical or sterile manufacturing experience
• Hands-on aseptic formulation and SAP system experience strongly preferred
• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment knowledge
• Ability to lift 40 lbs, stand full shifts, work in cleanroom environments
• Valid forklift operation certification or ability to obtain
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
