Description

Our Financial Services client is building a new enterprise AI team focused on identifying, analyzing, and transforming business processes through Generative AI and intelligent automation. This role will partner directly with business stakeholders, operations leaders, and technology teams to discover automation opportunities, define business requirements, evaluate AI outcomes, and help drive measurable business value across the enterprise.

This is not an AI development role. The ideal candidate will serve as a consultative Business Analyst who can quickly learn complex business processes, challenge assumptions, define success criteria, and help establish evaluation frameworks for AI-enabled solutions in a regulated financial services environment.

The initial focus will support account opening and onboarding operations, but the long-term vision is enterprise-wide AI transformation across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Analysis & Discovery

Become a subject matter expert on assigned business processes.

Conduct discovery sessions with business leaders, operations teams, and SMEs.

Analyze current-state workflows and identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation.

Challenge existing business assumptions and identify root causes of inefficiencies.

Requirements Management:

Translate complex business processes into actionable delivery artifacts for engineering teams.

AI Transformation Support:

Help define evaluation criteria for GenAI-enabled business solutions.

Support the design of human-in-the-loop workflows.

Establish measurements for AI effectiveness, automation rates, operational improvements, and business outcomes.

Partner with development teams to validate AI outputs against business expectations.

Agile Delivery

Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, demos, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, product owners, and business stakeholders.

Ensure requirements traceability through deployment.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or Product Analysis experience.

Experience leading requirements gathering and process discovery efforts.

Strong background documenting business requirements and workflow processes.

Experience working directly with business stakeholders and technology teams.

Experience supporting Agile delivery teams.

Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills.

Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.

This is 2-3 days onsite a week in St. Petersburg, Florida

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Petersburg, FL.

The pay range for this position is $89.65 - $89.65/hr.
