Practice Coordinator

$24.75 per hour
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized, approachable, and proactive Practice Coordinator II to join our busy satellite clinics. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and efficient experience from the moment they walk through the door or call our office. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced medical environment—managing a daily patient volume ranging from 20 to 170 patients—while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Patient Experience & Front Desk Operations: Greet patients upon arrival, facilitate the check-in and check-out processes, and ensure the reception area remains welcoming and organized. Insurance & Billing Support: Accurately verify patient insurance eligibility and process necessary prior authorizations for visits and procedures. Communication Management: Answer and route incoming calls, monitor and promptly respond to voicemails, and conduct daily appointment reminder calls to reduce no-show rates. Records Management: Securely handle patient medical records, including scanning, uploading, and organizing clinical documents within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with medical staff, providers, and administrative teams to ensure seamless daily clinic operations. Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: 1 to 3 years of minimum experience in an administrative, reception, or customer service role. Industry Knowledge: Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare clinic setting is highly preferred. Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to providing compassionate patient care. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems (Epic experience is strongly preferred, though we are open to training the right candidate). Adaptability: Ability to multitask and maintain composure and accuracy in a variable-volume clinic environment.

Responsibilities
