Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health evaluations through engaging initial consultations and follow-up assessments, meticulously documenting each client’s history, needs, and progress.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices for individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing a variety of mental health issues.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive environment that encourages healing and personal growth.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress against treatment objectives, making timely adjustments to therapeutic interventions as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counseling team works with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, many of whom are addressing emotional, behavioral, or psychological issues. We focus on those facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and various behavioral challenges. This role requires a nuanced understanding of diverse backgrounds and how mental health can be impacted by socioeconomic and cultural factors.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona is a must.

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is required.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to provide empathetic interaction with clients.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in managing multiple client cases effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a telehealth setting or proficiency with electronic health records, particularly in systems like AVATAR.

• Familiarity with the best practice guidelines established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• An in-depth understanding of the pharmacological interventions utilized by psychiatrists to ensure effective collaboration and patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

South Spring Behavioral Health Center offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, accompanied by a sign-on bonus as an incentive to join our dedicated team.
