Administrator

The Impact You Will Make The Administrator role is a vital part of the location team. It is multifaceted, offering the ability to learn many parts of the business while supporting customers and team members. It requires creating a customer‑focused environment through answering phones, scheduling appointments, onboarding team members, and assisting leadership. Specific responsibilities include: Contract processing and quality control, verifying that all contracts are valid before entry Banking duties: cash receipt entry, deposit slips, credit card transactions and bank deposits, sometimes including trips to the bank for actual cash deposits Cemetery daily processing of IOA’s (Interment Order and Authorization) following company standards and policies File maintenance and record keeping: update customer files, scan required documentation, maintain records of all memos, e‑mails, corporate policies, and implemented programs Human Resources: coordinate onboarding responsibilities as needed Accounts Payable: ensure all bills are paid promptly and process purchases and invoices through the current system Accounts Receivable: collect past and present balances due for delinquent location customer contracts Deeds and Certificates: provide deeds and certificates to Sales Management each week and process them according to location and state guidelines Work and Memorial Orders: order memorials when PIF (Paid in Full) and manage work orders for Park Services White Board Meetings: participate in daily meetings between Administration, Maintenance, and Sales Department Reporting: may include Trust, state‑required, and month‑end processing Core Competencies Compassion: genuinely cares about people, is concerned about personal and work problems, and demonstrates real empathy Customer Focus: dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers, using customer information to improve products and services, and establishes trust and respect Ethics and Values: adheres to core values under all circumstances, practices what is preached, and upholds ethical foundations Requirements Multi‑line phone skills; filing skills (alphabetical order); ability to type 40 words per minute with minimal errors; basic math and computer skills (Word, Excel or equivalents) Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to abide by company policies and keep confidential information Proficient organizational skills; ability to multitask efficiently and work independently or as part of a team; meets deadlines Valid state driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (for some locations) High school equivalency Minimum one‑year experience in administration or customer service Availability to work holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed Our Investment in You As part of our ongoing commitment, we offer a competitive benefits package for full‑time employees: Medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D and STD insurance Tuition reimbursement Anniversary award for each year of service Career advancement and training – aspiring managers program Everstory Cares – employee assistance fund Legend award program Funeral and cemetery benefits Employee referral bonus 401(k) with company match Equal Opportunity Employer Everstory Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
