Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and various medical conditions in a rehabilitation setting.
• Design, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's therapeutic goals.
• Utilize diverse treatment methods, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, ultrasound, and electrotherapy to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Document all treatment sessions meticulously, tracking patient progress and outcomes for ongoing evaluations.
• Reassess and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress, adapting therapies to meet changing needs.
• Advise patients and families on exercises, assistive devices, and methods to enhance recovery at home.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including children and adults with various physical challenges. Our patients often experience issues related to orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Through one-on-one care, you will help empower these individuals to regain their functional independence and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current State License to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication, ensuring clear interaction with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational skills with proficiency in using clinical documentation software.
• Highly flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Experience

• At least two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric populations is a plus.
• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is desired but not mandatory.
• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits
