Key Responsibilities

In this role, your contributions will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations by reviewing patients' history, performing specific assessments, and developing comprehensive evaluation reports that guide treatment planning.
• Articulating evaluation findings and collaboratively setting goals with patients and their families, ensuring their input is valued in the care process.
• Implementing tailored treatment protocols based on evaluative findings while demonstrating adaptability in response to the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address complex patient needs, adjusting care plans as necessary and recognizing any changes in patients' conditions that warrant further medical consultation.
• Managing discharge planning effectively by ensuring that all documentation, including progress notes and evaluations, is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
• Maintaining productivity expectations while demonstrating excellent time management, punctuality, and reliability in executing day-to-day responsibilities.
• Engaging in hospital and community marketing initiatives to raise awareness about our services and fostering relationships in the community.
• Actively participating in departmental goal-setting and compliance with regulatory requirements for patient care.
• Pursuing continuing education and professional development actively, enhancing personal growth and contributing to the organization's knowledge base.
• Providing exceptional patient experiences through flexibility, empathy, and dedication to fostering a positive healing environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to serve a diverse outpatient population requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. You will work closely with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and other conditions that impair mobility and function. By creating individualized treatment plans, you will support patients in their journey towards regaining their independence and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapist license for the state of Florida, or eligibility for licensure.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
• A commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
