Work Environment\n

This position will be entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in managing your caseload while maintaining a strong connection with a multidisciplinary team. You will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some evening hours as necessary based on patient needs. Our virtual office utilizes a variety of technology platforms, including electronic health record (EHR) systems, to facilitate effective communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the needs and treatment goals of clients seeking help for substance use disorders.

• Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring that each plan is aligned with the patient's unique circumstances.

• Provide individual counseling sessions, employing strategies such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral techniques to foster engagement and recovery.

• Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions that encourage shared experiences and provide support among individuals on similar recovery journeys.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that care is integrated effectively.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention support during substance-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and informed response.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, coping strategies, and available community resources to promote understanding and healing.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to enhance treatment strategies through collective input and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and face a myriad of challenges associated with substance use disorders. Many clients may also be dealing with co-occurring mental health issues such as depression or anxiety. As a counselor, you will not only guide them through the recovery process but also empower them by providing education about their condition and recovery techniques.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders and recovery-oriented care, as well as experience implementing evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven ability to conduct both individual and group therapy sessions effectively within an addiction treatment framework.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with an empathetic, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to maintain professional boundaries.

• Experience with EHR systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team dynamic.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by performance bonuses. In addition, a sign-on bonus is available.
