Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance abuse history and corresponding mental health needs.

• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address both their addiction and any underlying mental health issues.

• Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.

• Working closely with a dedicated treatment team to ensure an integrated approach to client care, enhancing overall treatment outcomes.

• Educating and involving clients' families in the recovery process, providing support resources and therapeutic guidance.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate records to meet regulatory requirements and ensuring confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients who are facing challenges associated with substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol, opioids, and stimulants. Many of these individuals also experience co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding them through their recovery journeys, ultimately helping them to achieve sustained sobriety and improved mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you need the following qualifications:

• A valid license as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Demonstrated specialized training or experience in addiction counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
