As a remote position, you will engage with patients through telehealth services, providing flexibility and ease to both you and the clients you serve. The practice operates seamlessly with a remote workforce, ensuring access to necessary resources and support. Our operational hours extend from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, offering you the opportunity to create a schedule that best fits your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to appropriately evaluate patients' unique trauma histories and challenges.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and building resilience in collaboration with each client.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to aid clients in their healing journey.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, promoting mental health awareness and equipping patients with effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work alongside psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
\n
• Provide immediate support during trauma-related crises, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and collected in high-stress situations.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal requirements and professional ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practice guidelines in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of patients who have experienced trauma. You will work with individuals facing emotional difficulties, behavioral challenges, and mental health issues associated with their trauma. This role involves fostering healing and resilience in clients through tailored care plans and supportive therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• A current, valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas is essential.

• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications is preferred.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
