Work Environment\n

This position will primarily be performed remotely, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured approach to therapy services. While the role may involve work-from-home elements, therapists will also have opportunities to connect in-person for team meetings or client sessions as required. Our work hours generally span from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to best serve our patients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that are culturally sensitive, enabling the development of effective, personalized treatment plans for each patient.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailored to the needs and backgrounds of individual patients to foster engagement and effectiveness.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that empower patients to explore their mental health challenges and cultivate resilience.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care integrated across disciplines.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention to patients experiencing acute mental health issues while ensuring ongoing support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and resources accessible within the community.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards, using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training sessions, promoting a culture of learning and growth.

• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and community resources relevant to mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia is mandatory.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic settings.

• Prior experience providing individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive manner is preferred.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the capacity to effectively manage challenging situations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to connect with a diverse clientele.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various relevant software applications.
\n
• A commitment to uphold professional boundaries and ethical guidelines while ensuring patient confidentiality.

• A willingness to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with experience in outpatient settings, particularly those with a focus on multicultural therapy approaches will be highly regarded. Additionally, familiarity with telehealth practices and adapting therapeutic methods to virtual platforms will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
