Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This full-time role involves 40 hours of work per week, with some variability in weekend shifts. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and resources designed to support effective patient rehabilitation, allowing you to implement innovative treatment protocols in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and capabilities.
• Provide expert consultation to interdisciplinary healthcare providers, facilitating a seamless continuum of care for your patients.
• Engage with patients and their families, educating them about treatment processes and ensuring adherence to therapeutic protocols.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress in accordance with applicable regulations and professional standards.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives and contribute to continuous quality improvement (CQI) efforts within the facility.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, fostering professional development and collaborative teamwork.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing education and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those with chronic pain, and patients with neurological conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy is essential to practice.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
