Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the unique counseling needs of clients, employing a trauma-informed approach to treatment.

• Evaluate clients for substance abuse diagnoses using the DSM criteria to ensure alignment with the appropriate level of care as per ASAM guidelines.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include substance abuse counseling tailored to individual patients' needs.
\n
• Create comprehensive discharge and continuum of care plans that facilitate patient transitions to the suitable levels of care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all counseling services, assessments, referrals, and follow-up activities in each client’s clinical record, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Manage a defined caseload, executing treatment planning duties and clinical charting as needed, while participating in regular utilization reviews.
\n
• Coordinate support services for clients and families, ensuring provision is documented thoroughly within clinical records.

• Engage with referral sources including legal entities, educational institutions, and employers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Facilitate interventions for crisis-oriented issues, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
