Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify the counseling needs of each client, focusing on those with co-occurring disorders.

• Utilizing DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria to assess clients for substance abuse diagnoses and determining appropriate treatment levels based on ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria.

• Crafting the substance abuse counseling component of individualized treatment plans, ensuring that they align with best practices and evidence-based methodologies.
\n
• Developing effective discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate smooth transitions into the next stages of recovery.
\n
• Documenting all counseling services, assessments, and treatment progress in clients' electronic clinical records, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

• Maintaining a manageable caseload while providing thorough case management and treatment planning updates.
\n
• Coordinating with family members and support systems to deliver holistic care and document all provided services in clinical records.
\n
• Collaborating with various referral sources, including legal representatives and employers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Implementing crisis interventions as needed, utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach to address complex client needs.

In this role, you will be working primarily with individuals facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.
