Work Environment\n

This remote position enables you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home while maintaining professionalism and compliance with telehealth guidelines. You will leverage secure video conferencing tools to engage with clients meaningfully. Our practice encourages flexibility in scheduling, requiring some availability during office hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs, including evaluating psychological conditions and social history.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient, integrating various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches.

• Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions using telehealth platforms, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at enhancing community connection and addressing shared mental health concerns.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver a comprehensive and holistic treatment approach.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, utilizing appropriate assessment techniques.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, promoting informed decision-making.

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 52,000 to 100,000 per year, dependent on qualifications and experience.
