Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain an active caseload, fostering positive relationships with clients through consistent, ethical interactions.

• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, stability, and readiness for discharge when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and continually monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans guided by clients' specific needs.

• Ensure meticulous documentation and timely progress notes for each client encounter, in compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine clients’ mental health needs and appropriate treatment path.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions weekly, providing direct psychotherapy to help clients navigate their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted LMHC licensure in New York State.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional clinical expertise such as specialized populations, trauma-informed care, or familiarity with telehealth practices will be prioritized. Comfort and responsiveness to technological solutions for service delivery can also enhance a candidate's fit for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
