Volt is immediately hiring for Healthcare Customer Service Representatives in Cary NC. Full-time & part-time schedules available. Competitive pay: $20.40 - $22.00 per hour.

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will:

• Answer high-volume inbound calls from patients and customers regarding prescription status, billing questions, account information, and shipment updates
• Make outbound calls to coordinate medication deliveries and collect payment information
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within internal systems
• Assist patients with prescription refills, medication shipment tracking, and insurance-related inquiries
• Resolve customer concerns while providing exceptional patient care and support
• Escalate clinical questions to pharmacists, nurses, and healthcare professionals as appropriate
• Document detailed call notes and customer interactions
• Support prescription fulfillment and healthcare operations through accurate data entry
• Report adverse events and product complaints according to company guidelines
• Achieve quality, productivity, compliance, and customer satisfaction goals

This is a full-time or part-time opportunity.

Schedules:

Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM

Part-Time: Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Paid Training: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (8-12 weeks)

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of recent high-volume call center experience
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• Ability to type at least 35 WPM accurately
• Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills
• Experience handling inbound and outbound calls
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong data entry and documentation skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proven attendance record and schedule adherence

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare customer service experience
• Pharmacy support experience
• Patient services or patient coordinator experience
• Medical office or healthcare administration experience
• Insurance verification or claims support experience
• Administrative or clerical experience
• Knowledge of prescription processing and medication fulfillment
• Experience maintaining confidential patient records

Pay Rate: $20.40 - $22.00 per hour
