We want to hear from you! We are hiring qualified ASL interpreters to provide on-site and video remote interpretation within the state of California. Assignments may include community events, educational support, and healthcare appointments. Key Responsibilities Facilitate accurate and effective communication between individuals who use English and those who use American Sign Language (ASL). Prepare in advance for interpreting sessions by reviewing materials and understanding context. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to our Code of Professional Conduct. Collaborate with the LinguaLinx team members, clients, and other service providers to ensure effective communication. Requirements Proficiency in English and target language(s), both spoken and written. Adherence to HIPAA, strong interpersonal skills, and reliable internet connection for remote assignments. Ability to work independently and adapt to various environments and client needs. 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess valid U.S. work authorization. May be subject to a background check. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in medical, legal, or educational interpreting. Comfortable with simultaneous interpreting.
