Senior Director, Card Partnerships - Head of Customer Communications Delivery & Operational Strategy

Define multi-year strategic objectives and roadmap for the Card Partnerships agenda Translate executive intent into executable programs and initiatives Lead moderate to large-sized teams driving complex projects and programs Design, develop, and manage projects in a complex, dynamic environment Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while managing risk Own executive-level communications, roadmaps, and reporting for senior leadership Establish engagement models with partners, legal/compliance, technology leads, business operations, and Accountable Executives Partner cross-functionally to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership for project delivery Build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure delivery commitments and well-managed obligations Direct the design and implementation of workflow solutions across the Partnerships delivery environment Drive continuous improvement in risk management using data, technology, and industry best practices Lead Operational Strategy and transformation for Partnerships Marketing Operations Own prioritization and delivery of servicing and marketing collateral Lead the customer communications delivery operation Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or military experience At least 7 years of Project Management experience At least 3 years of Financial Services experience At least 3 years of People Management experience Proven strategic leadership in a highly regulated environment Executive maturity and exceptional communication skills Ability to simplify complex project concepts for business audiences and influence outcomes without direct authority Strong track record of building, coaching, and managing high-performing teams Deep understanding of financial services products, risks, and operations Comfort navigating ambiguity, making high-stakes decisions, and prioritizing in a dynamic business context Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position Master’s degree preferred 10+ years of Project Management experience preferred 5+ years of Financial Services experience preferred 5+ years of People Management experience preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Project Management and Financial Services, with a strong focus on strategic leadership, team management, and effective communication.
