Work Environment

Located in South San Francisco, our rehabilitation center provides a friendly and dynamic work environment. The center features state-of-the-art equipment and technology, including WebPT for patient documentation, which allows for streamlined communication and coordination among our healthcare team. This onsite role operates on a standard workweek from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling a consistent schedule for both our staff and our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual recovery objectives.
• Manage a thoughtfully designed caseload, treating 1–2 patients per hour to ensure focus and quality of care during each session.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education, to assist patients in their rehabilitation journey.
• Document patient progress meticulously in WebPT, adapting treatment protocols as necessary and maintaining communication with referring physicians as well as other healthcare professionals.
• Guide patients through their rehabilitation from initial evaluation to discharge, empowering them with the knowledge and skills they need for long-term wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, post-surgical recovery, and sports-related injuries. Our patient demographic is diverse, ranging from active individuals to older adults, all with unique rehabilitation challenges. Your expertise will greatly influence their recovery process, helping them regain function and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Master's or Doctorate preferred) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A methodical and energetic approach to patient care that emphasizes collaboration and a deep understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with at least 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, where they have demonstrated their ability to design and implement effective treatment plans. Familiarity with modern treatment methodologies and rehabilitation technology will set you apart.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 120,000 and 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
