Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Administer individualized physical therapy programs that align with each patient's specific health goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a focused patient load to guarantee quality time and care for each individual, ensuring personalized and attentive treatment.
• Apply expert knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions.
• Utilize innovative, cost-effective treatment methodologies to enhance patients' mobility and functionality, emphasizing non-surgical options to minimize reliance on medication.
• Develop and adjust comprehensive care plans that include a variety of treatment techniques, considering the latest evidence-based practices.
• Design fitness and wellness programs that cater to patients' unique physical requirements, enhancing their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a positive environment that promotes mental and physical wellbeing.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes and ensure cohesive treatment strategies.
• Regularly evaluate and monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their feedback and clinical assessments.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of the services provided, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Web PT for seamless record keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily interact with outpatient individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Our patient demographic includes athletes, post-operative individuals, and those with varying degrees of physical limitations, all seeking to enhance their mobility and engage in healthy activities. You will build relationships with patients, encouraging a supportive atmosphere that promotes their active participation in therapy.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in California, with a clean professional record free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a thorough understanding of therapeutic modalities.
• Proven ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong competency in using EMR systems, specifically Web PT, for accurate patient documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge on the current trends and research in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly within sports rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully within a collaborative healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits
