Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients seeking improved emotional health.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, crafting tailored mindfulness practices accordingly.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques, cultivating self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate group workshops that focus on stress management, resilience-building strategies, and mindfulness practices, creating a community of support.

• Integrate mindfulness into individual therapy sessions to specifically address clients’ mental health concerns, promoting overall personal growth.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to create a holistic treatment approach that incorporates multiple therapeutic methodologies.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans in accordance with our telehealth platform.

• Engage in personal mindfulness practice and ongoing professional development to further enhance expertise in delivering mindfulness-based therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including those managing anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health challenges. Your role is to create a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can explore their thoughts and feelings openly. By applying mindfulness techniques, you will assist clients in recognizing and breaking negative thought patterns, thus equipping them with tools to lead more balanced and fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and a commitment to enhancing clients' well-being through mindfulness.
