What Makes You a Fit 5+ years of experience as a CNC machinist or machine operator Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and program codes Experience with manual and CNC machining equipment Basic computer skills and familiarity with production tracking systems High School Diploma or GED required Preferred Skills Experience with multi-process manufacturing environments Forklift or crane certification (a plus) Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented setting Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and work instructions to determine machining requirements Perform complex machine setups and operate CNC and manual machines (lathes, mills) Conduct pre-operational inspections and verify machine accuracy through trial runs Select and install tooling, fixtures, and materials for production Run parts through various processes including welding, saws, brake presses, polishing, heat treat, and more Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy Troubleshoot machining issues and resolve problems with minimal supervision Track production time and maintain accurate documentation and quality records Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist junior operators What's In It for You Boost Your Wallet: Competitive pay with weekly direct deposits.
