Bookkeeper

Job Purpose:The Bookkeeper at CITY WIDE FACILITY SOLUTIONS will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries, to support the financial health and integrity of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.Handle inquiries related to financial transactions and provide solutions as needed.Required Education:High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.Required Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.Proven experience with accounting software and databases, such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.Demonstrated experience in managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.Required Skills and Abilities:Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data management and financial analysis.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and resolve financial issues effectively.Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and external partners.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity. #J-18808-Ljbffr Priority Dispatch Corp.
