Bookkeeper

We’re hiring a Bookkeeper for a stable, family-owned construction supply / building materials company in Jacksonville. This is a direct-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a small office environment and is comfortable being the main accounting point person internally, with CPA support available. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Work Setting: Fully onsite Compensation: Around $50K–$60K, depending on experience What you’ll handle: Accounts payable and accounts receivable Bank and credit card reconciliations Month‑end close support Aging reports and soft collections Posting customer payments and receipts Purchase order reconciliations Notice to Owner, lien, and lien release work Daily sales and management reports What we’re looking for: 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred Strong AP/AR, reconciliations, GL, and month‑end experience Collections and aging report experience Exposure to Notice to Owner, liens, lien releases, or construction‑related documentation strongly preferred Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word Organized, reliable, and able to work independently Comfortable in a small, close‑knit office environment Nice to have: Construction, building materials, or supply‑side construction experience Small/family‑owned business experience Notary Public Experience with Epicor, Paycor, QuickBooks, or similar accounting/payroll systems This is a great fit for someone who wants long‑term stability, ownership of the accounting function, and a close‑knit office environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
