Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have a broad range of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to inform treatment planning.

• Monitoring therapeutic outcomes as an integral member of a dedicated treatment team.

• Providing direct support to families to facilitate positive changes for children and adolescents.
\n
• Developing a strong therapeutic rapport with clients, including children and their families, to establish a supportive and trusting environment.

• Collaboratively formulating treatment plans with clients and families, employing evidence-based strategies aligned with Natural Learning Environment Practices.

• Educating families on skills and strategies to enhance their children’s developmental progress.

• Utilizing coaching models and natural environment teaching techniques to maximize engagement and learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. You will work hand in hand with families to create interventions that are culturally sensitive and tailored to each individual's circumstances, emphasizing the importance of involving families in the mental health treatment process.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a counseling or mental health setting.
\n
• Possession of current Associate or Licensed status with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or in progress.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation to manage documentation and billing effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with specialized training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities or prior experience working in outpatient settings will be given preference. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote care delivery is a plus.
