Work Environment This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance that benefits both our team members and clients. However, you may occasionally work from our outpatient office in Everett, where a collaborative atmosphere is fostered among therapists and support staff. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and emotional needs, using standardized tools and interviews. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique circumstances and goals of each client, ensuring to use evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT and DBT. Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques tailored to diverse client populations. Monitor clients' progress through regular follow-up sessions and adjust treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Manage crisis situations effectively by providing immediate support and interventions when clients are in distress. Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and state laws. Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to offer holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client’s well-being. Engage in continuing education and training sessions to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment. Participate in supervision sessions, contributing insights on complex cases and seeking guidance for professional development. Uphold ethical and professional standards as outlined by licensing boards and professional organizations. Patient Population / Client Focus You will provide therapeutic services to a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, and families facing an array of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your capacity to connect empathetically with clients from different backgrounds will be essential in building trust and fostering a therapeutic alliance. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field. Active Washington state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW). Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities, with a solid understanding of various therapeutic interventions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective engagement with clients and collaboration with colleagues. Empathetic and client-centered approach, with a genuine commitment to fostering client growth and well-being. Capacity to work independently while also collaborating seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team framework. Knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal requirements relevant to mental health practice. A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and adaption of new therapeutic techniques. Preferred Experience Minimum of three years of direct experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a solid track record of successful client outcomes. Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities and interventions relevant to the diverse needs of the client population.
